darkenedspirit (Midgard_OBM) Excellent release. Vocals are great and breathe sulfur, the sound of the drum machine looks great and riffs very melodic and inspired. A first demo very successful. Otherwise, this demo is a beautiful object in a rather original format. Favorite track: Zukunftsleid.

Megalith Whale Raw, triumphant Satanic BM in the tradition of Seigneur Voland, Bekhira, Sargeist, and Owl's Blood. Passionate, skillfully crafted counterpoint riffs, with aggressive blasting/stomping drum machine. The "hit single" is undoubtedly opener "Erbreche Der Kreuz," where the riffs flow with an inexorable momentum, opening up into a deeply felt, genuinely moving call to VOMIT UP THE CROSS. But this demo is strong throughout. As minimalistic as his style is, Orek favors dramatic, even surprising, song structures, especially on wild rides like "Preis Der Nacht" and "Tanz Der Teufel." But I really appreciate the rigor of album closer, "Pest," a midtempo stomper driven by a single stern and noble Riff. An excellent first recording that is basically an EP in its own right. Favorite track: Erbreche Das Kreuz.
